Bay Cup Schedule with Host Club Assignments - Sept 4 Update
posted on Sep 3, 2010
Version 1.1 of schedule for the 2010-2011 Bay Cup Season is available for download as a pdf at this url, and updates the schedule posted yesterday:

http://tinyurl.com/25gyztf

The revised version includes the Oct 23-24 RYC weekend, and confirmation of the Dec 4 Marin Open.

The schedule represents our best, current understanding of the tournament schedule for: All NACs, Nationals, all SYCs, SFO RYCs, West Coast ROCs, and PCS circuit events.

This version includes the revised dates (April 15-18) for the Div 1 and Wheelchair Nationals Championships (moved from Summer Nationals by USFA).

Please let thebaycup@gmail.com know of any updates to the schedule for any local, regional, or national tournaments shown.

Also, we are working on updates to the Bay Cup website and hope to get this season’s schedule programmed in ASAP. As they say, we are experiencing technical difficulties.

Season Pass Pricing this Season
posted on Aug 26, 2010
This season, The Bay Cup membership is a little different. There are simply two categories, either members or non-members. You no longer need to sign up for membership for the different age categories. Being a member allows you to fence in any age category you are eligible for. This will allow for less confusion and mistakes when arriving at a tournament. Host clubs will only need to check one list (the membership list) before an event instead of consulting youth, senior, and veteran membership lists.

Standard Bay Cup single-event registration fee = $10 per event (paid at event, for non-season pass holders)

Season Pass membership = $70. This registers you for season-long membership. If you are only planning on fencing in one series this season it is a better plan to pay the single entry fee of $10/event. If you are planning on fencing in more than one series this season the membership fee of $70 may be a better deal (depending on how many events you fence).

Your payment of Bay Cup membership fees goes towards subsidizing referee fees, medals, prizes, and operating expenses.

As before, Bay Cup fees are in addition to the club fee (typically $20/event.)

If you are fencing at an upcoming Bay Cup event before Oct 12, and want to buy a Season Pass, there will be Bay Cup volunteers at the events to sign you up (and take your cash or checks, of course). Sorry, no credit cards.

If you would like to send in a signup form with payment by mail, request a form by emailing thebaycup@gmail.com

Please preregister for Bay Cup events on AskFred.net. This helps the host club plan properly for the event. A late fee of $10 will be assessed for registering at the door.
